FAQs

What is your turnaround time?

The turnaround time for orders, submitted by 3pm, is 48 business hours–weather permitting. Regular hours of operation are M-F. Business phone hours are 8-4pm, excluding holidays.

Orders for the Camp Verde, Cottonwood and Sedona areas are completed on Mondays & Thursdays.

What rental fees are charged following the initial installation?

Our renewal period is every 6 months, and costs $15 a post. An image of your post removal will be sent to your completion of your removal order. This process ensures you will not be charged a 6-month renewal fee.

How will I know if my order is completed?

You will receive notification through the app when your order is completed.

Do you provide commercial property signs?

We do! Standard commercial signs are 2 post, 4 x 4’, 4 x 6’ and 4 x 8’ options. Contact us for a custom quote today!

How do I place an order?

Orders are placed online 24 hours a day. Request service as soon as possible, or schedule for a future date. We’ll do the work for you.

Who determines where a post will be installed?

We recommended either the property owner or Real Estate Agent contact local utility providers to verify locations of utility lines prior to installation. It’s best if the Agent or property owner place markers to indicate the best location for post installation, including detailed notes with the online order. We recommend using markers such as:

  • Stake
  • Flag
  • Brick
  • Rock, size of grapefruit or larger

In the absence of markers and/or written instructions, we will use our best judgment to place the signpost.

A more detailed answer: If the property owner or Real Estate Agent elects to accept liability for installation of the real estate signpost without benefit of the local utility provider’s consultation, we will accommodate the request. In the event of damage to utilities, we do not accept liability, and should any charges result, those fees will be passed on to the customer.

In the event of sprinkler line damage, we will make every attempt to repair the damage. If the damage is immediately observed by the installer, the repair will be made on the spot. If the damage is reported within 72 hours, an installer will return to the address to make repairs. We do not accept responsibility for the cost of repairs if the customer or property owner requests repair by ANYONE OTHER than Mister Postman, L.L.C. It is our policy that ONLY Mister Postman L.L.C. remove or install leased equipment.

When do I need a Repair Order?

If a post needs to be repaired, reset, or relocated, a repair order must be submitted. Return to initial order online, select repair order. The fee for repair orders start at $20.00, plus any zone fee, depending on the location. The initial service agreement will remain in effect.

What are the 24 – 48 hour installation limitations?

A rush order is available for next business day for a fee. Sedona, Camp Verde, and the Cottonwood areas are serviced on Mondays and Thursdays.

All other orders are completed in a 48 hour, business day schedule. We make every attempt to accommodate regular 48 hour orders, for orders placed by 3pm previous business day. In some circumstances external forces interrupt our ability to provide this service, including:
1. Order clarification
2. Gated community access issues
3. Limited normal hours of operation for businesses
4. Unsafe weather conditions

Why was I charged, but my order was not completed?

We attempt to avoid miscommunication by submitting all orders online with a section for necessary installation notes. However, if adequate instructions are not provided, and our installer is unable to reach the agent, a fee of $20.00 will be charged in addition to any zone fee charges and the installer will move on to the next order on their scheduled route. Upon further instructions, we will reschedule the order for the following business day, and original order fees will be charged.

What if the property owner refuses access to the property for sign installation?

If a property owner or tenant refuses access to the property for signpost installation, we will contact the agent to advise of the situation. In lieu of the post installation fee, only a zone fee will be incurred. A new order may be submitted when the issues are resolved.

How do I avoid paying a missing post fee?

Placing a post removal order ensures posts are removed safely and placed back in our inventory. This avoids post damage and allows us to keep our costs down. Missing post fees are assessed and charged on a case-by-case basis.

 

A more detailed answer: It is Mister Postman L.L.C. policy that only Mister Postman L.L.C. employees remove or install our rented equipment. If a property owner or customer elects to make changes to the installation all liability for such action shall be the responsibility of the customer. City and County regulations are in force to prevent accidents. Furthermore, signs must not be placed in easement areas or near corners. Mister Postman L.L.C. must be made aware of all utilities and water lines (including sprinklers). In the event of sprinkler line damage, Mister Postman L.L.C.  will make every attempt to repair the damage. If the damage is immediately observed by the installer, the repair will be made on the spot. If the damage is reported within 72 hours, an installer will return to the address to make repairs. Mister Postman L.L.C. does not accept responsibility for the cost of repairs if not given reasonable notice and time to remedy the situation.

Do you replace and/or repair signs?

Should the holes in your sign fail or strip out, we will attempt to repair the sign. If that is not possible, we will gladly replace the sign with another of your stock signs. Our fee for this service is $20.00 plus any zone fee, depending on the location.

How much are zone fees?

Orders placed within the red service area are free. The green zone is $15, the orange zone is $20, the blue zone is $35, and the outer purple area is $95. Check out our service area map for more details.

How do I report an installation error?

In the event there is an error, notify us as soon as possible at 928-713-4442. Upon receipt of this notification, we will make every attempt to remedy the situation within 24 hours or less.

Can I call or text you?

Absolutely! Communication key to our success in completing your orders accurately and in a timely manner. We do our very best to respond to your texts and return calls as soon as possible within business hours.

What fees are charged for damaged posts?

In the unlikely event that a post is damaged while installed on the property, we will make every attempt to salvage it. Fees for damage will be charged based on the degree of salvage ability, not to exceed the cost for lost post and/or components.

What do you need to comply with Homeowner Associations or Gated Communities?

The property owner and/or agent ensure compliance with all Homeowner Association rules and regulations. Please communicate the necessary information to us in the notes section when submitting the order online. Please provide access information, like gate codes, for Gated Communities in the notes section of the order online.
